Day 3 Marusei

I was very lucky with the weather in Niigata , clear blue sky and sunshine , making the visits to the farm perfect , there is nothing better than buying Koi in Niigata whatever time of the year.

A trip to Niigata would not be complete without a visit to Marusei  , probably the biggest breeder in Niigata producing the most varieties.

                            Marusei Sansai Chagoi

Two very High Quality Sansai Chagoi 60-65cm that will easily grow past 85cm.

 

                           Marusei Sansai Yamabuki

Two very high quality Sansai Yamabuki 60cm as with the Chagoi these will easily grow past 85cm.

                                     Many Varieties and all Nisai and 35cm.

          Marusei Utsuri mix

                             Hi Utsuri and Kin Ki Utsuri all Nisai and 35cm.

With so many Koi at this farm it is impossible for him to feed his koi , so these koi are hungry, after

the quarantine has finished you will see a much improved body shape. Another great Day and after Marusei a visit to Dainichi to chat with Shigeru and look at Koi i would be buying the next day.
